Background

Overboard Prevention Training, LLC  was founded by a professional high angle rope rescue  instructor and lifelong rock climber who was called upon to assist a large towboat company in solving their industry's problem of workers falling overboard.  Since then, OPT has been committed to providing world class educators for customized solutions through  site assessment, equipping, instructing, and training.  Whether on a clifftop or barge deck, falling off is similarly preventable.  OPT's safety paradigm has been proven to work over the past few years.  Several towboat workers have been kept dry and alive who otherwise would have fallen overboard.  Moreover, their families didn't have to receive the notification that husband and daddy won't ever come home.
